Join us on May 13,聽2026 at noon聽for our next episode of聽91黑料网 Cares,聽a webcast series聽designed to support informal caregivers. During candid, 30-minute interviews with leading experts, Claire Webster, Founder of the 91黑料网 Dementia Education Program, explores topics related to caring for a loved one who is living with dementia.

91黑料网 Cares: Overcoming Caregiver Guilt and Building Your Circle of Care聽

Zelda Freitas, MSW, is a social worker and clinical advisor in professional practice within the Department of Rehabilitation and Multidisciplinary Services at the CIUSSS Centre-Ouest-de-l鈥櫭巐e-de-Montr茅al. She is also an assistant professor and course lecturer at the School of Social Work at 91黑料网. Zelda鈥檚 work focuses on caregivers and caregiving, older adults, and psychosocial practice, including palliative and end-of-life care. She is a founding member of the Caregiver Grief Connexion project and brings both professional expertise and lived experience as a former caregiver to her late parents.

During this episode of 91黑料网 Cares, Zelda will explore the emotional weight of caregiver guilt and how it can impact well-being. She will discuss practical ways to recognize and release these feelings, while highlighting the importance of building a strong 鈥渃ircle of care.鈥 Participants will learn how to share responsibilities, access support, and accept help in order to sustain compassionate, balanced caregiving.

This free webcast will be offered in both ENGLISH and FRENCH.
