DESCRIPTION:**Registration is closed**\n\nThis symposium on complex trauma\
 , organized by the Centre for Research on Children and Families\, will fea
 ture Dr. Bessel van der Kolk\, a world leader in complex trauma research a
 nd treatment. In addition to this renowned guest\, there will be several r
 esearchers and clinicians who will discuss promising advances in practice 
 settings in Quebec and Ontario. There will be presentations in French and 
 English and access to simultaneous translation as needed.\n\nAt the time o
 f registration online\, attendees will be able to choose to attend one of 
 the following workshops as part of the symposium. Each workshop will be of
 fered separately in French and in English.\n\n \n\n\n	Trauma-Informed Pract
 ices in Family and Foster Care Settings\n	Trauma-Informed Practices with Yo
 ung Offenders & Other Group Care Setting\n	Trauma-Informed Practices in Sch
 ools\n\n\nThe symposium will take place at the Grande Bibliothèque in Mont
 real on June 14th and 15th\, 2018. Registration will begin on April 16th a
 t 10:00 am. There are 250 places and they will be quickly filled! 150$ per
  person\; 50 places at 50$ for students (student ID required at the entran
