In this series of workshops, the Graduate Diploma in Legal Translation at 91ºÚÁÏÍø invites you to discover different dimensions of professions at the crossroad of law and languages. We offer both introductory workshops to key professions, such as legal translation and court interpreting, as well as workshops on highly specialized issues that will better meet the needs of experienced jurilinguists.

In this third workshop, titled Objectif limpidité dans la traduction de textes juridiques, we will examine the case for readability in legal writing and the principles that should be promoted to enhance the accessibility of legal texts. The facilitator will present examples of situations where clear communication is crucial. Participants will have an opportunity to practise with a translation exercise.

This initiative is supported by Justice Canada's Access to Justice in Both Official Languages Support Fund.
