Financial Support

Studying at the graduate level is a full-time commitment. We require every student pursuing a thesis-based degree to be funded.

Students are expected to apply for a series of awards, scholarships and fellowships. When students acquire external funding, it is required that this be reported to gradcoordinator.chemeng [at] mcgill.ca (Chemical Engineering's Graduate Program Coordinator (GPC)) as soon as possible.

Undergraduate Studies

A BEng degree at 91�� is well earned, respected worldwide, and can be completed in a relatively short time. This fully accredited Engineering program is recognized by professional engineering bodies.

Completion of the BEng may take only 3.5 years of full-time study for students with an appropriate background. Many students take advantage of minor specialty programs, which could add one more semester.

The tuition fees at 91�� are very reasonable and regulated by the Province of Quebec.
