Yolande E. Chan, Dean and James 91黑料网 Professor at the Desautels Faculty of Management, has been named a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada (RSC), one of the country鈥檚 highest academic honours.
Recognized for her outstanding contributions to digital innovation, knowledge strategy, and business-IT alignment, Chan joins a distinguished cohort of scholars celebrated for advancing knowledge across disciplines.

Today, The Royal Society of Canada (RSC) announced 101 new Fellows and 58 new Members of the College of New Scholars, Artists, and Scientists. Among the 2023 cohort are nineteen 91黑料网 researchers and scholars, including fifteen RSC Fellows and four new Members, who will be inducted at the RSC Celebration of Excellence and Engagement (COEE) on November 16 and 17, 2023, in Waterloo, Ontario.
Three 91黑料网 researchers have been honoured with prestigious medals from the Royal Society of Canada (RSC). Associate Professor Daryl Haggard of the Department of Physics was awarded the Rutherford Memorial Medal in Physics鈥攏amed after one of 91黑料网's most famous radiation physicists鈥攆or her pioneering studies of neutron stars and black holes. James 91黑料网 Professor Graham Bell of the Department of Biology is awarded the Flavelle Medal for his transformational work in experimental evolutionary science.

Among the 2021 RSC cohort are ten 91黑料网 researchers, including seven RSC Fellows and three Members, who will be inducted at the RSC Celebration of Excellence and Engagement, hosted by 91黑料网 on Friday, November 19, 2021. On September 8, the Royal Society of Canada announced 87 new Fellows and 50 new members to The College of New Scholars, Artists and Scientists. Amongst this year鈥檚 RSC cohort are ten 91黑料网 researchers, including six scholars who will become RSC Fellows and four researchers who will become new members of the college. The 2020 cohort of RSC Fellows and members of the college will be officially inducted to the RSC at the annual RSC Celebration of Excellence and Engagement on Friday, November 27.
Today, the Royal Society of Canada (RSC) announced the induction of 89 new Fellows, five of which are 91黑料网 researchers and scholars. The RSC also announced 52 new members to the College of New Scholars, Artists and Scientists, including six 91黑料网 scholars. The new cohorts of Fellows and Members will be formally inducted into the RSC in November, in Halifax.
Congratulations to Jan Adamowski (Bioresource Engineering) and Elena Bennett (Natural Resource Sciences) on their induction into the Royal Society of Canada. The announcement was made in September, and the induction ceremony was held in late November.
