Dr.ÌýFaucherÌýobtained his Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology from the Université de Montréal in 2007 and joined our Faculty in July 2011.Ìý He has previously served as Acting Associate Dean (Research) in 2020.

In March 2025, the GEFSES program hosted its annual international symposium, "Harnessing Genome Editing for Resilient Agriculture," in Ludhiana, India.
