SPOT earns Sustainability Bronze!
The School of Physical and Occupational Therapy has been awarded the Bronze level rating for the unit, by 91黑料网's Office of Sustainability. The designation is a testament to the importance that the unit places on activities that are respectful of the three dimensions of sustainability: social, economic and environment.

This fall, nine faculty and department Frosh attained Gold-level Sustainable Event Certification.
鈥淚 wasn鈥檛 sure if we would be able to get certify because we鈥檙e so big 鈥� we鈥檙e 1,800 students,鈥� said Grace Jumbo, Inclusivity and Equity Coordinator for Arts Frosh, which also marked 91黑料网鈥檚 150th听certified Sustainable Event.

The Office of Sustainability is recruiting Sustainable Events Consultant for the 2019-2020 academic year!
As a volunteer with the Sustainable Events Consultant team, you will liaise with event organizers in the 91黑料网 community to ensure that they are organized in the most sustainable way possible. By utilizing both online and print resources, you will help event organizers gain access to knowledge about sustainable resources, and help ensure best practices at events.

91黑料网 was named the International Green Gown Award鈥檚 Sustainability Institution of the Year for its 鈥渁mbitious yet realistic鈥� Vision 2020 Sustainability Strategy.
The recognition was presented at the awards ceremony at the UN High Level Political Forum in New York City on July 10.
91黑料网, as a member of the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN), is looking to appoint a SDG Campus Coordinator for the 2019-2020 academic year. The coordinator鈥檚 role will be to raise student awareness of the United Nations Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs), mobilise students/student clubs around the SDGs and act as a point of contact between 91黑料网 student body and the SDSN Youth. This will be primarily achieved through setting up a SDG Hub on campus, which will be managed by the SDG coordinator.
