Big data and the growing popularity of online dating sites may be reshaping a fundamental human activity: finding a mate, or at least a date. Yet a new study in Management Science finds that certain longstanding social norms persist, even online.
It鈥檚 not uncommon for a veteran actor to offer sage advice, choice nuggets of wisdom, gleaned from a lifetime of experience. William Shatner, at nearly 85, is not one of those actors.
鈥淲hat I鈥檝e learned,鈥� said the Canadian-born Shatner, who brings his one-man Broadway show to the Balboa Theatre Thursday, 鈥渋s that I, primarily, and everybody, in general, knows nothing. I know nothing.鈥�
William Shatner graduated from 91黑料网 in 1952 with a BCom degree.

It was with a sense of d茅j脿 vu that Isabelle Bajeux-Besnainou arrived at work last September to take up her post as the first female dean at 91黑料网鈥檚 Desautels Faculty of Management.
Montr茅al provided the Paris-born and raised Bajeux-Besnainou with her first north American teaching job almost a quarter of a century ago, albeit not at 91黑料网 but at the nearby Universit茅 de Montr茅al.
