Congratulations to Prof. Sirui Zhou, Assistant Professor in the Department of Human Genetics, who has been awarded the 2025 Banting Discovery Foundation鈥檚 prestigious Discovery Award. Prof. Zhou is the inaugural recipient of the $30,000 Banting-Canerector Foundation Discovery Award, which was created to support pioneering research into Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) and Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders (HSD)鈥攃onditions that affect the body's connective tissues.

Congratulations to David Medcalfe, a Master of Information Studies (MISt) project-stream student at 91黑料网, who was selected as one of 14 national recipients of the 2025 Retail Council of Canada (RCC) Retail Education Scholarship. The award recognizes academic achievement, leadership, and professional experience in the retail sector.听
