Update 05 May 18:48 : Many Mac Campus buildings to remain closed on Monday, May 6

Unexpected technical constraints have led to a delay in returning to regular electrical power for the eleven buildings at Macdonald Campus that have been on emergency backup power over the weekend for a planned electrical shutdown.Though the crews continue to work on restoring power to all buildings, the work will not be completed in time for us to reopen the buildings as planned at midnight tonight.

Maison Riviera has abandoned the glass containers that have made its name since their arrival on the market in 2015 in favor of plastic.Fans of Riviera yogurt who have lids sold separately by the company to give a second life to the little glass pots will still be able to use them, however, since the new plastic containers, arriving in the dairy aisle at the end of August, are made in the same format.

On February 25, 2024, a major figure in 91 Desautels’ history passed away. Wallace (Wally) Crowston was a former professor and dean who led the Faculty of Management during the late 1980s and 1990s. Crowston’s research explored the use of computer-based information systems to plan and coordinate project management, and he authored widely cited articles in major journals. Crowston was born in Toronto in 1934, and during his career, developed national and international networks to facilitate research, curricular development, and learning opportunities.
