The Schulich School of Music of 91黑料网 is pleased to announce that applications are open for the third edition of the Graham Sommer Competition for Young Composers (GSC).

Interested Canadian composers under the age of 35 (born after August 15, 1989), are invited to submit three original works (each 3-15 minutes long) by August 15, 2024, at 12:00 PM (noon) EST.

Congratulations to Professor Nigel Roulet, Department of Geography, for being awarded the 2024 David Thomson Award for Graduate Supervision and Teaching!听

This award recognizes an outstanding faculty member who has been supervising graduate students for more than ten years. Roulet started as an Associate Professor in the Department of Geography in 1994 and began his term as Graduate Program Director of the department the following year.听

It鈥檚 important that programs promoting safer sexting behaviours consider the specific needs of adolescents with behavioural problems, a by 91黑料网 researchers suggests.

Adolescents with behavioural problems engage in elevated levels of sexting compared with their peers without such problems. While this is the case both for male and female teens, the researchers found, the link was stronger for the young women.

Please be advised that 91黑料网 has mandated DEVCOR to carry out the following project:听18-156 McConnell Arena upgrade 鈥� Lot 2

The project consists of upgrading the electrical infrastructure to enable the replacement of the ice-making system, which will allow the arena to remain open for a longer portion of the year. The project also includes the modernization of sections of the ventilation and cooling systems.

Construction start date:听June 17th, 2024

Planned construction end date:听August 2025
