 search (OSR) is pleased to invite\n91ºÚÁÏÍø faculty members and administrato
 rs to an information\nsession on the FRQSC’s Start-up Program for New\nRes
 earchers.\nThe purpose of this program is to support a new generation\nof 
 researchers who have just launched their career to become\nestablished as 
 independent researchers and to become competitive\nnationally and internat
 ionally.\nNew Researchers in the fields of Social and Human sciences\,\nfi
 ne arts and who are planning to apply to the upcoming FRQSC\nStart-up Prog
 ram for New Researchers Professors competition\n(2013-2014) are encouraged
  to attend this information\nsession.\nEligibility Conditions for\nApplica
 nts:\n1. To have a doctoral diploma (or an attestation of\nthe submission 
 of their dissertation)\n2. To hold a regular position in a Quebec\nUnivers
 ity that will lead to tenure by the time the project begins.\nThe total du
 ration of all tenure-stream appointments\ncombined cannot exceed five year
 s by the competition\ndeadline.\n3. To be Canadian citizen or permanent re
 sident of\nCanada\, or provide proof that the process to obtain permanent
 \nresidency has been initiated with Citizenship and Immigration\nCanada\n4
 . To never have been funded under one of the following\nprograms: FRQSC 'É
 tablissement de nouveaux\nprofesseurs-chercheurs'\; FRQS 'Chercheurs\nbour
 siers' & 'Établissement de jeunes chercheurs'\;\nFRQNT ' Établissement de 
 nouveaux chercheurs'\nNOTE: Each candidate may only apply three times\nto 
 this program during their eligibility period and may\nonly be funded once
