DESCRIPTION:It's often the case that the best person to help you out when\n
 you've got problems or questions is someone who's been\nthere. To that end
 \, we invite you to participate in one of our\nDiscussion Groups on Teachi
 ng and Learning.\nThe goals of the discussion groups are to address teachi
 ng\nissues that come up as the semester progresses\, share tips and\nstrat
 egies for effective teaching\, and to form collaborative\nteaching relatio
 nships with your fellow TAs. Each group is\nmoderated by a T-PULSE Science
  Graduate Teaching Fellow.\nWhat should you expect? A typical session will
  be about 60-90\nminutes long\; stay for as long as you'd like. The discus
 sions are\ninformal and setting is relaxed.\nThe next discussion group wil
 l take place from 11:30am - 1:00pm\non Thursday\, February 16th in room 40
 6 of Thomson House\; the topic\nwill be grading and feedback. Feel free to
  come with your\nlunch or a pint in hand\, and we'll provide some snacks.
