DESCRIPTION:The 60 million girls annual conference has become the meeting\n
 place for hundreds of people who are committed to empowering women\nand th
 e communities of tomorrow. On Wednesday November 16th\, 60\nmillion girls 
 is pleased to welcome Veronica Fynn\nas keynote speaker to help celebrate 
 their 5th anniversary.\nVeronica will share her experience as a\nteenager 
 fleeing the civil war in her native Liberia to life in a\nrefugee camp in 
 Ghana.  She will talk about the formidable\nchallenges in her life and her
  unwavering belief in the value of\neducation for her future.  Veronica is
  now completing work on\nher PhD in International Law specifically studyin
 g gender based\nviolence in rural post-war Liberia and the ways to support
  women in\ntheir quest for justice.\nThe event will take place from 6 to 9
  pm at l'Ermitage on the\nCollège de Montréal campus\, 3510 Côte-des-Neige
 s Road\, Montreal. A\ncocktail and silent auction will precede the keynote
  address which\nwill be given in English and French.\nTickets are $100 eac
 h and can be purchased here.\nAnd\, of course\, a 60 million girls\nconfer
 ence would not be complete without an\nauction.\nThe Foundation offers you
  a head start to bid on several\nvaluable items and packages from their si
 lent\nauction.  They developed a special section on their\nwebsite which w
