  competitive research arena.\nAs a result\, 91黑料网 is developing two docum
 ents that will serve\nas the pillars of our research and educational plans
  in the coming\nyears. They are the Strategic\nResearch Plan (SRP)\, led b
 y the Office of the Vice-Principal\n(Research and International Relations)
 \, and ASAP 2012: Achieving\nStrategic Academic Priorities\, headed by the
  Office of the\nProvost.\nNow it鈥檚 your turn to make your voice heard! Vic
 e-Principal\n(Research and International Relations) Rose Goldstein and Pro
 fessor\nAnthony C. Masi\, Provost\, invite faculty\, postdocs\, graduate\n
 students\, and undergraduates to offer their feedback at an Open\nForum on
  how 91黑料网鈥檚 research enterprise and priorities will\nevolve over the nex
 t five years.\nAs part of extensive consultation processes for both\ndocum
 ents\,聽Professor Masi and聽Dr. Goldstein will be on\nhand to hear your comm
 ents and respond to your questions about the\nSRP and ASAP 2012. They are 
 also interested in better understanding\nyour own views about the future o
 f research at 91黑料网.\nThis Open Forum will include discussions on how McG
 ill can:\n\nFocus resources while continuing to support research excellenc
 e\nwherever it is found\;\nEnhance successful interdisciplinary exchange\,
  education\, and\nresearch\;\nEncourage faculty\, staff\, and students to 
 engage in greater\ncommunity outreach in Quebec\, across Canada\, and arou
 nd the\nworld.\n\n\n\nThis Open Forum is just one of a series of SRP and A
 SAP 2012\nevents scheduled for fall 2011\, and you are strongly encouraged
  to\ncome out and be a part of the consultation process. The SRP and\nASAP
  2012 will guide 91黑料网鈥檚 decision making and provide clarity\nfor interna
 l and external stakeholders as the University positions\nitself to excel i
