 ion is now open for the August 2011\nGraduate Teaching Workshop from the T
 omlinson Project in\nUniversity-Level Science Education (T-PULSE)!\nThis p
 opular two-day workshop offers participants the\nopportunity to reflect up
 on their own approaches towards teaching\,\nto develop skills for demonstr
 ating in laboratories &\ndiscussion sections\, and to provide a foundation
  for future\nacademic positions.\nWe will provide strategies for ensuring 
 that there is a close\nrelationship between teaching & learning and explor
 e\nlearner-centered approaches to teaching that can be easily used in\nthe
  lab or classroom.\nThis workshop is designed for Faculty of Science gradu
 ate\nstudents\, especially those who are TA-ing or considering careers in
 \nacademia.\nThere are two sections: \nSection 15: Tuesday\, August 23rd a
 nd Thursday\, August\n25th \nor\nSection 16: Wednesday\, August 24th and F
 riday\, August 26th\nThe workshop runs from 10:00am – 4:00pm each day. A f
 ree lunch\nis provided each day\, and everyone who attends both full days 
 will\nreceive a certificate (see attached sample). The certificate is a\nu
