DESCRIPTION:University Services and SSMU will co-sponsor an open forum on\n
 Thursday\, Sept. 23\, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. in the ballroom of the\nStudent 
 Centre on McTavish Street. The goal of this event is to\nprovide an opport
 unity for members of the 91ºÚÁÏÍø community to share\nviews in light of rece
 nt changes on the downtown lower campus that\nhave affected pedestrians\, 
 cyclists and drivers of vehicles.\nSpecial emphasis will be placed on how 
 an appropriate balance\ncan be struck between the needs of cyclists and pe
 destrians. An\nintroductory presentation will be made of the background hi
 story\nthat led to the changes over the past summer\, followed by an open
 \nsession in which the audience members will be invited to share\ncomments
 \, exchange ideas and engage in a discussion.\nA panel of 91ºÚÁÏÍø students 
 and staff will be on hand to\nstimulate conversation and respond to questi
 ons when needed.\nEveryone from the 91ºÚÁÏÍø community is invited.\n
