 rd cycle of\nthis national child maltreatment data collection. The CIS-200
 8 data\nwas gathered from 114 child welfare agencies/offices in every\nCan
 adian province and territory and employed a similar methodology\nto the CI
 S-1998 and CIS-2003 studies\, so comparisons can be made.\nOversampling st
 udies were conducted in British Columbia\, Alberta\,\nSaskatchewan and Ont
 ario. Additional oversampling studies with\nspecifically adapted procedure
 s are being conducted in Quebec and\nwith selected First Nations' service 
 providers.\nThe CIS-2008 report will be launched on October 25th\, 2010 at
 \nthe LAC ACJQ conference. Nico would like to take this opportunity\nto se
