 c policy in the Dept. of Art History and Communication\nStudies in the McG
 ill Faculty of Arts. Prior to joining 91ºÚÁÏÍø in\nJuly 2008\, Prof. Lentz s
 erved as the first Program Officer for\nelectronic media policy at The For
 d Foundation\nbetween 2001 and 2007. In that capacity\, she designed and\n
 implemented a new grant mak­ing strategy that supported scholarly\nand pub
 lic interest research\, legal ad­vocacy\, and community\norganizing in the
  field of  communication law and policy in\nthe U.S. and internationally. 
  Her annual grantmaking \nportfolio av­eraged about $4 million\, which res
 ulted in an\ninvestment of approximately $24 million in the emerging secto
 r of\nwhat is now referred to as media re­form and media justice.\n \nThis
  session is intended for faculty\,  DAR\, senior\nresearch administrators\
 , and other 91ºÚÁÏÍø staff who manage\nrelationships with foundations.\nSEAT
