  the magazine L’Actualité. Ms\nHébert began her career in Toronto as a rep
 orter for the regional\nnewsroom of Radio-Canada in 1975 before moving on 
 to Parliament\nHill for Radio-Canada radio.  She has served as bureau chie
 f\nfor Le Devoir and La Presse.  Hébert is a graduate of Glendon\nCollege\
 , York University.  She is a Senior Fellow of Massey\nCollege at the Unive
 rsity of Toronto and hold an honorary doctorate\nfrom Bishop’s University.
   She is a recipient of two\nAsia-Pacific media fellowship (Malaysia and J
 apan).  She is\nthe 2005 recipient of the APEX Public Service Award. In 20
 06\, she\nreceived the Hy Solomon award for excellence in journalism and\n
 public policy as well as York University’s Pinnacle Achievement\nBryden Al
 umni award. She is the author of a 2007 book titled French\nKiss : Stephen
