 aginaries of health\nand illness arising from techniques that allow the bo
 dy to be freed\nfrom its phenotypic constraints\, thus no longer relating 
 the body's\nintegrity\, wholeness or soundness to its physical contours\, 
 or even\nto its identifiable organs and parts. Digitization and imaging\nt
 echniques\, combined with genetic understandings\, have made the\nbody mor
 e transparent\, more fluid\, more temporally manipulable than\nat any time
  in history.\nProfessor Jasanoff will discuss these changes and what they
 \nimply for legal thought\, which has tended to be governed by rough\nand 
 ready physical criteria of what counts as being inside or\noutside the bod
 y and its zones of integrity or privacy. She will\nanalyze how these chang
 es in biological and legal thought intersect\nwith market developments\, f
