 Karim Nader\,\nwill give a lively and thought-provoking talk on 'Taming\nT
 rauma.'\nHeather Munroe-Blum became the 16th Principal and\nVice-Chancello
 r of 91黑料网 in 2003. An accomplished\nscholar in the fields of 
 epidemiology and public policy and a\ndistinguished university leader\, sh
 e has dedicated her career to\nthe advancement of higher education\, scien
 ce and innovation in\nCanada and internationally. Among her main objective
 s as Principal\nof 91黑料网 is strengthening the University鈥檚 role at the wo
 rld level\nwith respect to research\, graduate education\, student experie
 nce\nand positive societal contribution. Dr. Munroe-Blum sits on several\n
 private and public boards\, and currently serves as President of the\nConf
 茅rence des recteurs et des principaux des universit茅s du Qu茅bec\n(CREPUQ) 
 and on the executive committees of the Association of\nUniversities and Co
 lleges of Canada (AUCC) and the Association of\nAmerican Universities (AAU
 ).\nKarim Nader\, who joined 91黑料网 in 2001\, holds the positions of\nAsso
 ciate Professor and William Dawson Chair in the Department of\nPsychology.
  Before coming to the University\, he did his\npost-doctoral studies in a 
 lab at New York University. His\nsupervisor there once said that 鈥淜arim ca
 me into the field of\nmemory like a ball of fire. He had brilliant ideas a
 nd a great\nknack for turning them into experiments 鈥� and making the\nexpe
 riments work.鈥� Professor Nader is a brilliant researcher whose\nrevolution
 ary studies of traumatic memories are bringing relief\nfrom post-traumatic
  stress disorder. His research also inspired the\nmovie 'Eternal Sunshine
