Her res earch focuses\non acculturation\, stress\, psychological distress\, and su icide in\nyoung Asian Americans and pathways to developing resiliency in\n individuals and families. She is a well known trainer and presenter\nin th e field of mental health. Dr. Jha has 3 graduate degrees in\nChild Develop ment\, Mental Health Counseling\, and Social Work and\ncompleted a Ph.D. i n Social Work from the University of Illinois at\nChicago.
