 take this as it is one of the training sessions promised to you as part of
  Orientation.\n	Please note that students in older cohorts\, who missed pre
 vious sessions covering this topic\, are welcome to join!\n	This is also op
 en to DFM staff who have not yet taken it.\nThis workshop has been designe
 d to guide participants on how best to manage conflict and the different s
 tyles that can be used. It will also provide a framework for having diffic
 ult conversations\, as well as highlight some of the negative consequences
  of unresolved conflict on our physical and mental health.\n\nMiriam Carve
 r\n\nMiriam Carver is on faculty at 91ºÚÁÏÍø’s Executive Institute and is al
 so an instructor at University of Montreal’s Hautes Etudes Commerciales (H
 EC). She is President of Carver Institute Inc.\, an organizational develop
 ment firm providing learning and consulting to clients throughout North Am
 erica and overseas in manufacturing\, transportation\, telecommunications\
 , distribution\, retail\, government\, education and healthcare.\n\nAreas 
 of expertise include leadership development\, conflict resolution and nego
 tiation skills\, change management\, building teams\, customer service\, e
 xecutive coaching and emotional intelligence.\n\nTamara Carver\n\nTamara C
 arver is an Assistant Professor at 91ºÚÁÏÍø in the Faculty of Med
 icine. She is the Education Lead of Family Medicine Innovations in Learnin
 g (FMIL) which supports leading-edge education innovation.\n\nThe Carver T
