 enda\n	\n\n	Keynote Speakers:\n\nDr. Brenda Eskenazi is a Jennifer and Brian
  Maxwell Professor of Maternal and Child Health and Epidemiology at the Un
 iversity of California\, Berkeley and the Principal Investigator and Direc
 tor of the NIEHS/EPA Center for Environmental Research and Children’s Heal
 th (CERCH). She is an internationally renowned neuropsychologist and epide
 miologist whose long-standing research interest has been the effects of to
 xicants including lead\, solvents\, environmental tobacco smoke\, dioxin\,
  and pesticides on human reproduction and child development.  Dr. Eskenazi
  directs studies on 3 continents\, has authored or co-authored more than 2
 50 papers\, and has recently been awarded the John Goldsmith Award for lif
 etime achievement in environmental epidemiology.\n\nDr. Michael Brauer is 
 a Professor in the School of Population and Public Health at The Universit
 y of British Columbia.  He also directs the Bridge Program – a strategic t
 raining program linking public health\, engineering and policy.  His resea
 rch focuses on the relationships between the built environment and health 
 and on the assessment of exposure and health impacts of air pollution.  He
  has participated in monitoring and epidemiological studies throughout the
  world and served on advisory committees to the World Health Organization\
 , the Climate and Clean Air Coalition\, the US National Academy of Science
 s\, the Royal Society of Canada\, the International Joint Commission and g
 overnments in North America and Asia.  He is an Associate Editor of Enviro
 nmental Health Perspectives and a member of the Core Analytic Team for the
  Global Burden of Disease.\n\n \n
