From Master's to Postdoctoral, this space provides graduate students at all levels with access to workshops, events, and resources aligned with D2R’s interdisciplinary mission. Topics include RNA therapeutics, genomic medicine, equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI), commercialization, data science, and career development beyond academia.

A foundational goal of D2R is to help cultivate the next generation of researchers. Being a D2R Scholar is the highest recognition available to D2R trainees and the awards recognize outstanding and active trainees performing research across all of D2R’s Foundational Axes.

The Postdoctoral Scholar Awards both financially support and leading-edge interdisciplinary and intersectoral training through the D2R Training Program.

Keesha Ness’s family certainly knows farming – they’ve been doing it for nearly 100 years and plan to celebrate when they reach that milestone next summer.

Ness is passionate about farming, loves her cows, and plans to follow the family’s tradition.

“I’m definitely hoping to help out with the management side,” says Ness of her family’s Ayrshire dairy farm in Howick, Quebec.

“I really love the management side of it.”
