Bargaining Update – COFAM

On June 3, 2026, 91�� and the Confederation of Faculty Associations of 91�� (COFAM) held a scheduled bargaining session that was administrative in nature. During the meeting, both parties reviewed articles that had been exchanged since the previous bargaining session in April 2026. These included provisions relating to Tenure and Tenure-Track Librarians, Contract Librarians, Leaves of Absence, and Unranked Contract Academic Staff, as well as the status of the articles that remained to be exchanged in order to complete the University's response package.

Bargaining Update – AMPL

Meetings between 91�� and the Association of 91�� Professors of Law (AMPL) took place on April 29, May 12, May 13, and June 2, during which the parties reached agreement on additional items.

The parties have now resolved the majority of issues that could be addressed through negotiations. The remaining outstanding matters will proceed to arbitration for resolution.

The arbitration dates agreed upon by the parties and the arbitrator are August 26, October 26, November 11, and December 8 and 15.

The parties met on June 16, 2026, and exchanged their respective counterproposals on monetary issues.

They are scheduled to meet again on July 14, 2026.

Bargaining Update – AMUSE (Casual)

The Union and the University met on May 26 and May 27 to continue discussions on non-monetary proposals. During these meetings, the parties reached agreement and signed off on revisions to certain articles, while discussions continued on other non-monetary issues.

Negotiations are scheduled to resume on June 19.

The parties met again on May 20 as part of a conciliation session to continue exploratory discussions on a limited number of issues.

The parties met on May 25 and continued their discussions on workload and shift assignment. Notable progress has been achieved, particularly with respect to the refinement and near completion of job descriptions.

The next meeting is scheduled for June 17.

The parties met on May 22 and continued their discussions regarding work and shift assignment. Constructive progress is being made, as both parties remain actively engaged in exchanging proposals and identifying potential avenues toward resolution.

The next meeting is scheduled for June 5. At that time, the Union is expected to table a comprehensive global proposal addressing all outstanding non-monetary issues. The University will, in turn, present its monetary counter-proposal, further to the Union’s previously submitted offer.

Bargaining Update – AGSEM

Following the exchange of monetary proposals in March, the parties have continued to meet regularly, including sessions on May 6 and May 11.

Progress has been made, including agreement on the Selection and Appointment article. Constructive discussions have also helped narrow differences on the Leaves article and clarify job descriptions for certain course-related positions. Current discussions are focused primarily on workload and related processes. While progress continues, several key items remain under discussion.
