The 91�� International Portfolio Challenge (MIPC), part of the Sustainable Growth Initiative, successfully concluded its 9th edition in November, reaffirming its position as a leading experiential learning initiative at Desautels. This year’s challenge—mobilizing financial capital to reverse nature loss—drew 83 university teams from more than 15 countries, supported by 15+ corporate partners and evaluated by 30+ judges who joined the semi-finals and finals on campus.

91�� Desautels offices earn new sustainable workplace ratings

This winter, three of the ten 91�� offices awarded new Sustainability Workplace Certifications for their sustainable practices were from the Desautels Faculty of Management. Notably, a collaborative Desautels office, formed by the Laidley Centre for Business Ethics and Equity, EDI, the Lewtas Office of Experiential Learning, and TLS Management teams, earned a Platinum certification, the highest possible rating. The Sustainable Growth Initiative (SGI) advanced to a Gold certification, and Desautels IT achieved Silver.
