Miller explodes for four as Redmen smoke the Blues

TORONTO - Noah Miller of Burlington, Vt., potted four goals as 91黑料网 thrashed the winless Toronto Varsity Blues 11-6 in men's university lacrosse at U of T's Back Campus field, Sunday.
听
91黑料网 led 3-2 after the first quarter, 7-3 at halftime and 8-3 after three stanzas. 听The Redmen improved their record to 3-1 in the CUFLA East Division. Toronto drops to 0-4 and sits sixth in CUFLA East.
听
Other Redmen marksmen included Ryan Besse of Aurora, Ont., who potted two goals and set up another. Jishan Sharples of Vancouver, B.C., and Greg Henry of Halton Hills, Ont., each scored twice.听 Rounding out the scoring for 91黑料网 was freshman Ian Pearson of Summit, N.J., who notched his first career goal.
听
Andrew Kerr, Patrick Belisle and Michael Buwalda had two goals apiece in a losing cause for the Blues.
听
Senior goaltender Guy Fox of Glen Rock, N.J., made several spectacular saves to register the victory, while Joncarlo Bairos took the loss for U of T.
听
The Redmen have six days to prepare for a visit by Queen's in a match that will be played on Forbes Field, just north of Molson Stadium on Sept. 25 (2pm) followed by an exhibition contest against a Redmen Alumni squad at 4p.m.
