Capolungo nets winner as soccer Redmen ambush Attak

MONTREAL - A first-half goal by Yohann Capolungo, a native France, held up as the 91黑料网 men's soccer team posted a gratifying 1-0 preseason victory over FC Attak de Trois-Rivieres at Molson Stadium, Wednesday.
听
The Attak, a farm team of the Montreal Impact, are coached by former 91黑料网 bench boss Philippe Eullaffroy and sit alone atop the six-team National Division standings of the Canadian Soccer League with an 8-4-2 record.
听
Capolungo, a speedy 5-foot-9, 158-pound midfielder and a 21-year-old management sophomore, scored in the 20th minute of play.
听
Goalkeeper Jean-Lou Gosselin, a first-year transfer from UQAM, turned aside all four shots faced to earn his first official shutout in a 91黑料网 uniform.
听
Gosselin and his Redmen defence was solid in shutting down Reda Agourram, the CSL's leading sniper with 12 goals in 14 games.
听
91黑料网 improved their preseason record to 4-1-0 and will play their final non-conference contest at Williams College in Williamstown, Mass., on Sept. 5. 听Regular-season play in the 听Quebec University Soccer League begins on Sept. 10 when the archrival Montreal Carabins visit Molson Stadium.
