MONTREAL - Gideon Balloch scored 22 points as 91黑料网 spanked Sherbrooke 69-10 in a Quebec University Rugby League men's semifinal played in the rain at Molson Stadium, Friday.

听

Balloch, a six-foot winger from Ottawa, tallied a pair of tries and added six听 conversions.

听

The Redmen jumped into a 45-0 halftime lead before putting in their second-stringers.

听

Liam Brown, an exchange student from the United Kingdom added two tries as did Mathieu Sidoti, a native of France and Cameron Perrin of Vancouver, B.C.

听

Other Redmen try scorers were Liam O'Briain, Jong Wook Lee of Vancouver and Josh Reznick of Toronto. The other 91黑料网 conversion was kicked by junior Brendan O'Sullivan, also from Toronto,

听

Scoring tries in the second half for Sherbrooke was Alexandre Trottier and Simon Beauregard.

听

91黑料网 is tentatively planning on hosting the Quebec conference final at Molson Stadium on either Nov. 11 at 7 pm or on Nov. 14 at 8 p.m. They await the winner of the other semifinal between Bishop's and Concordia, slated for Sunday (Nov. 7).
