Radical Developments in German Energy Policy

Monday, September 26, 2011 12:30to14:30
Chancellor Day Hall 3644 rue Peel, Montreal, QC, H3A 1W9, CA

Professor Bernd Holznagel, University of Munster, will join us for an informal seminar on the recent developments in German energy policy.

In the wake of the Fukashima nuclear disaster, Germany has recently confirmed its abandonment of nuclear energy at the same time as implementing a dramatic further shift to renewable energy supplies. These German developments stand in significant contrast to energy law and policy developments in North America.

The discussion should be relevant to those interested in energy, environment and EU law and politics.
