The 91ºÚÁÏÍø Department of English Drama & Theatre program is proud to
present its upcoming season of classical works. The season begins with William
Shakespeare’s black comedy masterpiece Measure for Measure playing at Moyse Hall Theatre from November 17th-20th and 25th-27th, 2010.

Set in contemporary Austria where the worlds of Islam and Christian Europe collide and morals from both sides are tested. A 17th Century black comedy with influences of English Canadia dell’Arte, it tells the story of Isabella, a woman attempting to free her brother and keep her morals. A multi-media staging by Patrick Neilson brings this classic Shakespeare into the here and now with a large and talented cast.

The young and exciting cast includes Mike Ruderman (Angelo), Kate Sketchley
(Isabella), Spencer Malthouse (The Duke), Carling Tedesco (Provost), Charles
Dauphinais (Claudio), Thea Fitz-James (Lucio), and Emma Fiske-Dobell (Julietta), Ben Hanff (Pompey), Chloe Texier-Rose (Escalus), David Whiteside (Friar), Gabriela Petrov (Mariana), Danny Morrison (Elbow), Chris Lane (various), Elizabeth Conway (Mistress Overdone), and Melisa Keogh (various).

The 91ºÚÁÏÍø Department of English Drama & Theatre Program is dedicated to providing students with practical theatrical experience.
