This workshop seeks to engage colleagues in a collaborative discussion about the promises and challenges associated with graduate supervision, and techniques we might explore for improving our experiences as teachers, supervisors and mentors, as well as the experiences encountered by students in our LLM and DCL programs.

The workshop will address the following three themes:

1. Teaching and fostering academic integrity
2. Enhancing graduate writing skills
3. How to be an engaged/active supervisor and teacher while keeping realistic and responsible commitments to our graduate students
