The debate about “functionalism and form” in Secured Transactions Law reform – Article 9 UCC as the non plus ultra?

The Quebec Research Centre of Private & Comparative Law (QRCPCL) warmly invites you to the 4th lecture of the 2010 edition of its Summer Seminar.

The lecture will be given by Henry Matz, a student member of the QRCPCL.

Abstract : The work wants to contribute to the discussion about law reform in the field of security rights over movable property in Europe, especially in Germany and Switzerland.

Its goal is to give a comparative evaluation of the legislative approaches of the Article 9 Uniform Commercial Code and continental European laws by addressing the particular field of title security.

About the QRCPCL Summer Seminar Series

The main purpose of this seminar series is to offer a forum to younger scholars to present their ideas and to engage with those of others in an informal setting.

The whole 91 Law community is invited to take part in the discussion, so please share this invitation with graduate students and research assistants.
