Call for Applications: Program Director, AFC in Adult Thrombosis Medicine

The 91ºÚÁÏÍø Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Department of Medicine, is recruiting for the position of Program Director of the Area of Focused Competence (AFC) in Adult Thrombosis Medicine, to start January 1, 2026. The Director will be responsible for the overall functioning of the 1-year fellowship training program in Adult Thrombosis Medicine, ensuring that it meets Royal College requirements and expectations of Canadian thrombosis fellowship training programs.

The position is for 1 day per month (2 hours per week; FTE 0.05), and the Director will be provided with an appropriate stipend and administrative support by 91ºÚÁÏÍø. Candidates should be an MD; Royal-College certified (or equivalent) in General Internal Medicine, Hematology, or Respiratory Medicine, with fellowship training in thrombosis or vascular medicine; working in the 91ºÚÁÏÍø Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (Department of Medicine) and should have familiarity with clinical residency training and with medical postgraduate educational principles.
