  Alex Leo Kolodkin\, Professor of Neuroscience at the Johns Hopkins Univer
 sity School of Medicine\, USA. Dr. Kolodkin’s lecture entitled 'Wiring up 
 the nervous system: mechanisms and molecules' will take place on December 
 13th at 4 pm in the Jeanne Timmins Amphitheatre of the Montreal Neurologic
 al Institute and Hospital.\n\nEstablished in 1935\, the Hughlings Jackson 
 Lecture is the MNI’s premier scientific lecture. It honors the legacy of B
 ritish neurologist John Hughlings Jackson (1835-1911) who pioneered the de
 velopment of neurology as a medical specialty.\n\nA reception will follow 
 in the Helen Penfield Atrium of the de Grandpre Communications Centre.\n
