 and Martha DiFrancisco as 27th lecturer in the I Medici's series on Biolog
 y of Music.\nBorn in Quebec City\, Gilles Auger is a graduate of the prest
 igious Juilliard School of Music (New-York) and a student of the late Leon
 ard Bernstein. He is currently a conductor and teacher at the Quebec’s Con
 servatory and music director of the Lévis Symphony orchestra.\nCanadian vi
 olist\, Isaac Chalk\, is a graduate of 91������\, where he was a 
 recipient of many awards including the prestigious Golden Violin Award\, t
 he largest privately funded music scholarship in Canada. Mr. Chalk is Prin
 cipal Viola for les Violons du Roy.\nAn acknowledged leader in the field o
 f sound recording and a pioneer in digital recording\, Martha DeFrancisco 
 is Associate Professor at the 91������ Schulich School of Music. She is a gr
 aduate of the Tonmeister program at the Muskhochschule Detmold in Germany\
 , and previously worked as a producer/engineer/editor for Philips Classics
 .  Martha is a frequent lecturer at international professional conferences
