 fferent products. What is the best approach to authenticate and authorize 
 all those users?\n\nIn this talk\, Gabriel will present an overview of the
  Genetec approach to authentication and authorization. We will discuss the
  common pitfalls of username-password authentication and describe some fun
 damentals of OpenID Connect and OAuth2\, which allow Genetec customers to 
 use their existing employee accounts to login to Genetec products. You wil
 l learn about claims\, access tokens and grant types\, as well as how to d
 esign authorization for an API.\n\nAbout the speaker\, Gabriel Bourgault:
 \n\nGabriel is a software development team leader at Genetec\, currently w
 orking on the Genetec login platform. He graduated in software engineering
  in 2019\, and has since then been involved in various projects and initia
 tives at Genetec. His main interests aside from coding are product develop
