School Outreach

The Branches Program facilitates several school outreach initiatives which aim to bring families and communities together to learn with and from each other.

Ìý

Branches works with Montréal school boards and various 91ºÚÁÏÍø partners to support families and youth underrepresented in the 91ºÚÁÏÍø population, including youth from socio-economically marginalized and/or Indigenous communities.

Our goal is to work with school boards, educators, families, and members of the 91ºÚÁÏÍø community to create responsive, sustainable programming that encourages young students to persevere in school and see themselves as lifelong learners.

91ºÚÁÏÍø is on land that long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst
Indigenous peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg nations. We acknowledge
and thank the diverse Indigenous people whose footsteps have marked this territory on which
peoples of the world now gather.
