The Institute for the Study of International Development congratulates Sophia Weiqi Li, winner of this year’s Best Undergraduate Paper in International Development Studies Prize. Sophia is a Honours International Development Studies Graduate with minors in French Language, Russian Language, and Urban Studies, and is recognized for her paper entitled When Feminists and Imperialists Link Arms: An Intersectional Case Study of the Russian Invasion in Ukraine.

Eduardo Romero Dianderas is an Assistant Professor at the Institute for the Study of International Development, 91��. He holds a PhD in Sociocultural Anthropology from Columbia University (2022) and specializes in the study of media technologies, technical infrastructures, and global environmental governance in Latin America.
